Hi! I’m Jen and I pride myself on my gentle treatment of parents and babies, which is how I came up with my practice name: Jentle Lactation. I’m a lactation consultant based on Long Island, supporting families throughout Nassau County, Eastern Queens, and Western Suffolk.

I’m in-network with Aetna, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare, and I’m happy to provide a detailed invoice (“superbill”) if you’re seeking reimbursement from another insurance plan. 

With nearly 20 years of experience, I offer warm, caring, personalized support for all kinds of feeding concerns — including latch and positioning, milk supply, infant weight gain, sore nipples or breasts, introducing bottles, pumping, tongue tie, returning to work, and so much more.

Visits with me are in the comfort of your own home so you and your baby don’t have to shlep anywhere. Virtual visits are also an option for some types of appointments.

If your baby isn’t here yet, you can book a prenatal appointment to get the knowledge and confidence to get breastfeeding off to the best start as soon as you deliver your precious bundle, as well as address any specific concerns you might have.
